On display in the alcove area of the Library's art gallery are winning entries from the Children's Environmental Art Contest (Scroll down to see the images of all 21 awarded entries.)

Currently on exhibit in the hallway area of the art gallery are works by three professional local artists: Photography by Susan Oliver, 3-D Pop Up Kirigami Cards by KoriAnn Designs, and Fused Glass Art by Jan Butler. The artwork is available for purchase by contacting each artist directly. (Click on the links below to see information for each artist.) The 18th Annual Children's Environmental Art Contest "Coloring the Earth" was sponsored by the Friends of the Cape Coral Library and the Cape Coral-Lee County Public Library. The Friends of the Cape Coral Library art gallery committee is excited to welcome back the Weavers of Char-Lee, whose creations have been so popular with library visitors over the years. This time a collection of recent work features weavings, spinning, collage, some lovely shawls, and other fiber art created by Char-Lee guild members. Their artwork is displayed on the walls as well as in the three cases. (Be sure to visit the Cape Coral Library at 921 SW 39th Terrace to view 70 beautiful hand-made pieces in person.)
